I seriously can't believe that this 4-day weekend was ONLY FOUR DAYS! So much Memorialing. So little time. This was also the first weekend I've had the girls. We typically do a night or two days, but THREE DAYS. Eek!
Friday - Maddi graduated Kindergarten! Ihop'd it with Rhonda. Cleaned the crap out of the apartment. Finalized our budget for the next couple months. Grocery shopped. Booked it to her cheer performance! Booked it to CC. Didn't get in until close to midnight, but introduced the girls to Sandlot. Oh the joys of parenting :)
Saturday - Mickey mouse pancakes with Meemaw. Nap. Terry BBQ'd with Pappa. Met more extended family, which will take me years to put their family tree together. Watched the girls swim at Aunt Sandy's. Taught a little nugget how to wobble (You're welcome again). Held myself to 1.5 pieces of pizza. Gathered up all our goodies and headed back to MTX.
Sunday - Woke up to a miniature Terry knocking at our door and running away giggling. Made Fiber One blueberry muffins (shout out to cooking out of a box). Shopping trip for toys and treats at the Dollar Store (which btw was a GOLD MINE.. must remember). Melt down at the Dollar Store. Pout fest at the apartment. Hot dogs. Nap time. Ended with pool and popsicle fiesta. BTW - Our apartment complex pool is so ghetto fabulous. Never seen so many teenage parents, wife beaters, and out of control children. God Bless our nuggets for being so good and sweet. And God Bless us for not being trashtastic. Well.. At least at the pool we're not.
Monday - Tried to sleep in, but we're old people and apparently are incapable of that even with the babies gone. Were lazy bums on the couch. Terry was surprisingly into watching all the service oriented movies on TV. Bought movie tickets. Headed to the Outback. Fell in love with being the cool kids that eat/drink at the bar and watch 8 different TV screens. Headed back from the Outback in worse shape than we went int. Pretty sure that Bloomin Onion bloomed something else in us. Got a nifty refund for our tickets. Watched The Vow (cried) and Contraband from the glorious place that is called RedBox. Terry and I both fought off tummy aches all night :-/
Don't get me wrong, the time with T and the girls was AMAZING. But dang, I'm exhausted. My first full mommy weekend and I think I passed. And apparently I'm unable to pass out for 14 hours straight and recharge like I used to. I'm gonna have to build my mommy stamina.
I'm also happy to report, that even through all that I lost 2 lbs. This week we have meals planned out and workouts planned out. That doesn't mean anything really as far as execution goes... but yeah, I have a plan. Gold star for me.
Happy Trails

Holy cow.. I can't believe I'm about to do this again. But thought it might be great to keep myself accountable and just to flat out VENT!
I started back again because I'm so inspired by Mama Laughlin. I've been SO stalking her for the past week and her attitude (not always shatting pumpkins and sparkly rainbows) is what I need. She is REAL. As real as real can get. And really.. if she can pop out to gorg kids and do this crap, why can't I?
So here we are again.
Goals:
1.) Complete the MS 150 Ride in July. Still not sure I have enough time to train for this, but I'm gonna do my damndest.
2.) Train 4-5 days a week.
3.) Try to run again.. maybe my kneed will be stronger and smarter after taking a nice long break from stupid running. Or maybe I'll just grow a pair and tough through it.
Things I'm already doing:
1.) Been taking Advocare for a while now and it's amazeballs. I'm so low energy, it's not even funny and keeps me going even through the toughest of no-sleep days (yes, I sleep terribly). But this stuff also keeps my appetite in check, it's all natural and seriously GOLD.
2.) Drinking a crap ton of water! At work I have a huge cup (plus straw because having sensitive teeth is thaaat awesome) and I drink about 3 a day, plus my meal water and pre/during/post wkout water. It also helps that Advocare makes me oober thirsty. Some crazy magic herb making me feel middle of the desert-ish all day. Thank you.
3.) Have all my cycling gear. I don't know if you know this, but working out can be expensive, especially on a bike. Thankfully my mom is a bad ass (motha shut yo mouth) and thinks I'm cool for doing what she does, so she gets me rad gear. I'll learn how to post pics and share with all my negative followers.
4.) Just started back counting calories at My Fitness Pal again. I think I get about 1300 a day. I hate this damn guilt ridden place, but yeah yeah I know, it keeps you accountable. *cough* which is what I need *cough*
DO WORK.
Gonna keep it short and simple today since I have no followers and am sure this is just for my sanity : )
Luvs
P.S. Just bought these rad wkout shirts, because I'm trying to convince myself that if I feel awesome I will workout awesome.. ly. Awesomely. YES. Totally works.
